Chantal is the queen of your place, a sophisticated, discrete service, magical cooking and the wealth of knowledge on places to visit , beyond the immediate surroundings. Also, other staff were very professional. The place feels special and homely because of that. You could do little things to honor this sterling service such as investing into better cutlery sets, for example. But, overall, a very good place, which we will recommend to friends and would like to come back to. Rating: 4.8.

We had the lake view room and it was fantastic and exactly as the picture. The room and the building is full of character and the view from our room was stunning. The B&B is located at the end of a path through the authentic village of Molina. It is its fair to say not the easiest place to get to but this adds to the charm and the village is about as authentic as it gets. Giorgio was especially helpful in recommending places to see and eat. All in all, I can't recommend it enough. I would suggest if you can to go the extra mile and get the lake view room. It was fantastic. Rating: 5.0.
My mother and I had a fabulous stay at B&B Le Ortensie. Chantal was fantastic and was more than willing to assist us in any way she could. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Lake Como :). Rating: 5.0.

We rated this as our top hotel experience in a month of travel in Italy. The view of the lake is ridiculously beautiful, and we threw open the french windows on both sides of our room just to drink it in - with the lake's constant changes of mood from early morning until late at night. The rooms are generous and graceful with warm comfortable beds, pleasant antique furniture and good hot showers. The hotel offers a couple of covered car spots or you can leave your car in the public car parking available in the village of Molina; the hotel managers will arrange for you and your luggage to be quickly transported through the narrow twisting streets to the hotel. You approach the hotel along a pretty garden path, and once through the front door the hallway leads through to a pleasant ground-floor breakfast/dining room and to a paved patio with views of the lake.
